Look who's organizing!

We all want to change the world. Whether it's through building businesses, advancing science, spreading education, designing structures, reporting on news, cultivating gardens, or developing communities, our contributions rely equally on talent as on passion. This passion is precisely what propels us to step out of our professional realms and organize meaningful events that bring diverse individuals together in the same spirit as the Fulbright program, to learn from each other. In brief, think of a friend or colleague who relishes a challenge. Here at TEDxFulbright, we're driven entirely by such folks!

Thus far, we have held four events, with four unique teams of organizers, each in a different city across three nations, with our fifth event swiftly approaching in Los Angeles on September 26th. In the Fulbright spirit of a borderless world, we strive to engage as many geographical regions as possible, with organizers, past and present, representing more than 20 nations across five continents over the course of our 4-year history. Many of our organizers contribute from a distance, but this year's core team in LA is an exception, supported by a few still in Europe and Asia. This year, as well, we're honored by close partnerships with TEDxSantaMonica and TEDxUCLA to enrich our program even further for the Southern California area, building on their tremendous leadership and insightful curation. The TEDxFulbrightSantaMonica crew comes together from diverse careers in aerospace engineering, scuba diving, architecture, filmmaking, neuroscience, education, business administration, photography, industrial design, executive coaching, and musical composition. In between our brain dissections, orchestra rehearsals, NASA missions, and underwater survival training, we're honored to be putting together a brilliant, interdisciplinary program that builds on and contributes to the Fulbright vision of a world connected by people and their ideas.
